Recipe of the Week - Tender Barbequed Chicken

I'm not sure where I got this recipe from.  I do know that we have used it alot in the past 10 years.  Everyone eats it and since there is only a few ingredients and it cooks in the crockpot, it's simple too.

Ingredients:

3 pounds chicken pieces, cut up
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
18 ounces barbecue sauce
3/4 cup cola

Place chicken in a crock pot.
Top with onion and lemon slices.
Combine barbecue sauce and cola; pour over all .

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until chicken juices run clear.

Or you can cook on high for 4-6 hours.

This chicken is so moist and yummy.  You can cut it with your fork!
